Police found a youngster’s seven-day old body from Liaquatabad, C-1 area graveyard within the precincts of Super Market police station. Identity of the victim is yet to be ascertained.

DSP Rustam Khattak said the body was lying near an empty grave and victim’s hands and legs were tied with ropes. He further informed that deceased had been shot once in the head and body was abandoned some seven days ago. He said his face was blotched by worms and it was difficult for the police to identify him.

It’s a fun place, this project of Ocean Towers is the best model of public-private partnership with the theme ‘unity in diversity’, he added. He further said that Karachi contributes 60% to the national economy due to its industry and ownership that means flyovers, bridges, underpasses etc and if we need to have sustainable growth in the long run we have to own our country.

Police applied baton-charge and lobbed teargas shells to the rally besides firing shots in air at Abdullah Haroon Road in Saddar area.
