Syed to inaugurate heritage fountain at Karachi Zoo tomorrow

Administrator Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Muhammad Hussain Syed on Zoo Day, to be celebrated on Jan 29 (tomorrow), will inaugurate the 135-year-old heritage fountain at Karachi Zoo, which has been made operational again after a gap of 26 years. Boating and Mumtaz Mahal facilities have already been resumed for citizens, which had been terminated 26 years back. Various recreational and informative programmes have been planned for this occasion, while the well-off people would give different species of animals and birds as gift to the Karachi Zoo. Social and educational organisations will also set up stalls at the zoo. This may be noted that the administrator had desired to make Karachi Zoo a modern and beautiful zoological garden.
