KARACHI: Law enforcement agencies have arrested three alleged members of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and also seized explosives from their possession, sources said on Thursday.
According to sources, police arrested Ishtiaq Azmi and Faiz, an imam and cleric of a mosque in Orangi Town Sector 14-I. The law enforcers were informed by residents after an explosion was heard in nearby hills. Authorities rushed to the hilltop in Orangi, but the suspects managed to flee the scene. However, locals managed to apprehend two of the suspects and handed them over to the authorities.
